“Global Warming”

Global Warming is here to stay. But I am now very hopeful that we are finally starting to take this worldwide problem seriously.  I have started a new series of paintings that will be abstract expressionism and figurative  expressionism. The first of this series is called “Global Warming”. It shows a blue world fading into a world of fire, dangerous heat, chemicals, and other toxic pollutants.  And observing this invasion of the atmosphere are the citizens of the world.  Many feel expressions of denial, sadness, confusion, and bewilderment at what is happening to their world.  Others see hope that the problem is solvable and they want to get to work.  Either way, no one can ignore Global Warming any longer.
